Terms & conditions

1. Agreement to terms

These terms ("Terms") govern your use of the Carebridge Home Care website and your engagement of our care services. By using the site or asking us to deliver care, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

2. Our services

Carebridge Home Care provides non-regulated home support services across Leicestershire. This includes companionship, befriending, help around the home and reablement support. All support is subject to an initial assessment and is delivered in line with our policies and our duty of care.

2.1 Initial assessment

Before care starts, we visit you (or your loved one) for a free consultation. The assessment helps us agree what care is needed, how often, and at what cost. Care will not commence until a care plan and written agreement are in place.

2.2 Care agreement

The delivery of care is governed by a separate, signed care agreement between Carebridge Home Care and the service user or their authorised representative. The care agreement sets out the specific services, frequency, fees and notice periods that apply to you. These Terms do not replace or override that care agreement.

2.3 Fees and payment

  • Fees are set out in your care agreement. They are in GBP and quoted inclusive of any applicable VAT.
  • Invoices are issued in line with the schedule in your care agreement (typically weekly or monthly in arrears).
  • Extra time or services outside of the agreed care plan may incur additional charges, which we will confirm with you first.
  • Late or missed payments may, after notice, pause or end the provision of care.

2.4 Cancellation and notice

Visits and ongoing care can be cancelled or changed in line with the notice periods set out in your care agreement. We always aim to be flexible where circumstances allow, particularly in cases of hospital admission or sudden change in needs.

2.5 Looking after your data

We treat the information of the people we care for, and their families, as confidential. Our full data practices are in the Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation).

Subject to that, our liability to you in connection with this website is limited to the price you have paid us for any related services. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or opportunities.

7. Complaints

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date below shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
